New York
City Trip |
|
| |
New
York City
December
1 - 4th, 2005 |
|
|
|
|
The trip of a lifetime is the only way to describe the bus trip my
best friend Colleen and I took
from Dec 1st to the 4th of 2005!
Colleen and I had booked a bus trip last winter
which was to leave Port Dover, Ontario on December 1st, 2005 and
take us to the Big Apple to see all the sites, lights, colors and
fanfare of New York City
in all it's holiday glory.
The following pictures are a small part of what we actually saw
and did. Unfortunately, the pictures don't do the trip
justice. It's one of those
"you gotta see it to believe
it" scenarios
in order to feel what New York City is all about.
Hopefully you will still be able enjoy our trip in
picture form,
and capture some of the excitement!
ENJOY!!

Ahhhhh....nothing like cool morning air at
4:30 a.m.
when you're headed to catch the bus!
Sleep....sleep....did someone say sleep??
No....no sleep this night. We were too excited!

Well, I must say, after a 10 hour bus ride,
it sure
feels good to be laying down in our beds. We stayed at a
Holiday Inn Express in Newark, New Jersey.
However, the relaxed feeling would not be enjoyed for very
long.
About 30 minutes after this picture,
we were back on the bus to head into the big city!
We certainly didn't want to waste any time, so off we went! |
|
Oh my....there it is....our first sight of
the New York City
skyline! It looks so very small from across the river,
but
we would soon find out just how huge the city was.
Look at that Empire State Building....it's just calling our
names! |
