The little St. Francis birdbath in the right picture was my
first. I purchased this while in Toronto about 14 years ago. Surprisingly
enough it's lasted just about everything that's been thrown at it. A few
years ago, while it was stored in the garage for the winter, my husband
came into the house carrying 4 pieces of poor St. Francis. He had knocked
it over onto the cement garage floor. I quickly bought some cement glue
and if you look closely, you can see where he's patched together, and
where there's a small 'hole' in his head from the piece I couldn't find.
My other St. Francis was purchased at a home and garden show a number
of years ago. The price was right! The middle picture was from 2002 and the left picture is from
the spring. He stands looking down on the
'tarp' ground birdbath.
