Hi, my name is Val and I live in Northern Ontario, Canada. My Birthday is on September 16th
and I'll be 56 this year...2007.
My husband and I will be celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary
this June (07). We have three wonderful sons...Ryan, Warren,
and Marty...and two beautiful, funny granddaughters Hailee (04)
and Hannah (06). Ryan has been married to a wonderful girl, Angele,
since July 2003, and Warren has been seeing a great girl, Cindi,
for a few years now. Cindi has two lovely children, Brittney &
Austin :)
I absolutely love gardening and nature and have approximately 20-25
bird feeders on the go which attracts quite a variety of
birds. Over the last few years though I've had to give up
alot of my gardening activities. I just don't have the energy to
do it.
My favorite places to be are working in the garden and sitting at
my computer chatting with my wonderful friends!
I'm luckier than most in that I don't suffer with the FM as badly
as a lot of people do. Fatigue is the symptom I live with the
most.

Hi, my name is Mitzi and I'm 66 years old. I live
in Buffalo, New York, and have two children, a daughter and son.
I am now the proud grandmother of six....three boys and three
girls, ranging in ages from 20 months to 25 years of age. I'm
also a great grandmother to one step-great granddaughter and one
great grandson.
I do enjoy some creative crafts and I love to sew and crochet.
Other favorites are going to dinner and shopping. My health
slows me down somewhat these days, but I get along just
fine. Recently my daughter moved back home with me and she
is a great help.
I love the computer and receiving emails...so keep them coming!

This was taken in 1988, just before her
illnesses began wreaking havoc
in her life. She fought them off as she cared for her
mother, who was
suffering from the same things- although far more
advanced. Watching Gram, we had a preview of life
to come, genetics at work with sick practical jokes, but
no one was laughing. |
This photo is how I want to remember her. She was vibrant,
active, enthusiastic, quick-witted with not a mean bone in her
body. She would defend others with great courage, yet never
stand up for herself. That's just the modest way she was.
She was a hell of a lady.

Hi, my name is Ellen. I'm 59 (will be 60 in Oct. 04) single
again with 3 grown sons, ages 30, 26 & 26 (yes they are
twins). I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and have a
variety of interests.
I enjoy cooking for and entertaining family and friends, reading
good mystery novels, knitting and walking when the weather and
my fm and arthritis permit.
