Denturist Association
Of Ontario
D.O.A. |
|
|
|
|
Doug
Beswick, who practices as a licensed Denturist in his
office at the Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre, was a valued Board
Member on the Denturist Association of Ontario (DAO) for a period of eight
years. As a Board Member,
Doug was actively involved in seeing that the profession adhered to
and promoted the Regulated Health Professions Act. The Act sets out
minimum education requirements and standards of operation for not only
denturists, but all health care practitioners. Doug has long been a
proponent of setting high standards for the protection of the general
public and advises all residents of Valley East of their rights as
consumers. |
"If you have any questions or concerns about the policies or
licensing of a denturist, all you have to do is simply contact the College
of Denturists at 1-888-236-4326 and check to see if the person is in fact
licensed and/or practicing in accordance with the law," explained
Beswick. "The DAO works very closely with the College of Denturists,
providing input and advice on policies and procedures that will govern
denturists across the province."
The health care professions are no different from any other. If you
have any doubts or concerns, it is worth the time it takes to investigate. |
