Jolene Pabst Wins Grand Prize Of
Two Bikes During Easter Contest |
|
Mike Lemieux, co-owner of Hanmer Home Hardware, one of the
anchor stores at the Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre, is shown with a couple
of very happy young girls and her happier mother. Faith Pabst, on the
right, is holding up her 2 1/2 daughter, Jolene, moments after her name
was drawn as the Grand Prize winner in the April 10, 2004 Easter Contest. The
prize - two brand new bikes! Jolene's older sister, Faith-Aliesha 6, is
shown at the bottom of the picture. Faith-Aliesha also had her name picked
as the winner of a beautiful Easter basket courtesy of The Floral Nook. |
|
The Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre was filled with hundreds
and hundreds of young children, parents and grandparents, all trying to
spend some time with the Easter Bunny's Assistant on April 10, 2004. The
children were treated to chocolate eggs and were also given a chance to
win the Grand Prize at the end of the day. It was a remarkable day which
will be remembered by all. |
The
Easter Bunny, Adele Fex, is shown here with an unknown fan during a quiet
moment during the Easter Promotion at the mall. Adele did a remarkable job
as she greeted hundreds of young children all day long. Her pretty smile
and warm conversations created many happy moments during the day. |
Val Mazzuca, on the far right of the photo below, and owner
of the Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre, was very appreciative of the efforts
of the Easter Promotion Team who all worked extremely hard during the day
on April 10. Hundreds and hundreds of visitors to the mall enjoyed
chocolate eggs and a couple dozen prizes donated by the merchants. The
Team consisted of, from the left: Randy Cottrell, Kaitlin Cottrell, the
Chicken from Dixie Lee; Adele Fex (The Easter Bunny); Lise Pellerin
(Barney), and Val Mazzuca with a box of Easter Eggs which were to be
delivered later on that night by the "Real" Easter Bunny. |
