Is Daffodil Month - Help In The Fight To Find A Cure For
Cancer
April marks the beginning of the Canadian Cancer
Society’s annual fundraising campaign, Daffodil
Month, where more than 40,000 volunteers across
Ontario join together to raise money to help fight
cancer. Claire Barbe Lillian Bergeron gave of their time
to help with the sale of daffodils to raise money and
awareness for the Canadian Cancer Society. For

The Capreol TOPS Spring Bake/Table Sale was held from

Suzanne Venne and Rejeanne Lapalme spent a few hours at

Brosseau Raises Money and Public Awareness About
Arthritis
The Forester's 1st Annual National Big Swim for Arthritis will
take place across the Nation from April 21 to 24. Valley
East's Christine Brosseau is training at the Howard Armstrong
Centre in hopes of swimming 200 laps of the pool to earn a
gold medal for her efforts. For

Greetings! I am a level three CHA referee in the
branch of HNO (Hockey Northwestern Ontario) for 7
years now. Recently the OFSAA "AAA/AAAA"
Boys High School provincial championships were
held in Fort Frances Ontario. I was invited to do
lines at the games over the course of three days.
If we were "good enough" we were asked
to continue on into the quarter finals.

Centennial Arena
Volunteer Sudbury/Bénévolat Sudbury is inviting
the entire community to attend a fundraising
dinner auction hosted by Ron Dupuis, Ward 3

Francoise Roussel, Board Member. The event will
take place on Thursday, April 20, 2006 beginning
