Valley View Public School places a great deal of importance on participation in intramural and extramural sports. Hence, the school has a reputation for entering just about every contest and/or exhibition that is organized for elementary schools in the Sudbury District. Each year, the students assemble in the gym to take photos of the various groups and teams so that they can be displayed at the entrance to the school.

Mr. Dewit, on the left, is shown with his City Champion Girls Volleyball Team.

Cross country skiing is an extremely popular activity at the school.

The school band is always an energetic and enthusiastic group.
