1st Valley East Scouting Association Receives Recognition For Outstanding Achievement

Congratulations go out to the 1st Valley East Scouting Association and its members on winning the Boy Scouts of Canada Sudbury District Outstanding Group award for 2000-2001. It marks the 2nd time the organization has won the coveted trophy. They also took the honours in 1995-96.

Fran Sequin, Chairperson of the 1st Valley East Scouts is very proud of the work her members have done, “We all work extremely hard for the boys and girls in Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. It is an honour to receive this award as recognition for the work everyone has done.”

Members of the association were on hand for the award celebration and took time for photos.
