“It’s
been packed here both days,” Paul commented. “The kids are having a
great time with the animals, pony rides and other games we have set
up.” In
addition to the games for the children, there was plenty to see and do
for adults as well, including several displays, presentations and a
small farmers’ market. The
Fall Festival has grown into a very popular annual community event in
Valley East and is expected to continue to expand. The key to the
success of the occasion is that the organizers have presented a
fun-filled family weekend with enough different things to do and see
that one can spend hours on the site and still have something to keep
up their interest. It has been a well-planned mix of
entertainment, education and shopping which appeals to people of all
ages. One of the other activities which generated a lot of interest was the hay ride. Marcel Michaud is shown driving the happy participants during one of his rounds. |
