Who We Are

    The VISION paper is a Community Paper now in it's 8th year of publication.  It is delivered free of charge every Wednesday to over 9700 households by Canada Post exclusively in the City of Valley East and the Town of Capreol.  It's content pieces together local news, local events, horoscopes, public notices, classifieds, advertising, etc.

Letters To The Editor

    The VISION Paper welcomes letters on specific issues covered in The Paper.  Please include your full name, (company affiliation, if applicable) address and daytime phone number for verification. Writers should limit their letters to 125 words or less.  We reserve the right to edit letters for length, clairty and liability.  We will not publish a name if requested.  Short letters, we found, have mort impact with our readers.  

    There are three ways of submitting your letters.

  1. Address your letters to "Letter to The Editor" c/o one of the above addresses.

  2. Email your letter to The VISION

Classifieds

Personal Classified : $2.00 for 15 words and 15 cents for each additional word.

Business Classified : $5.00 for 15 words and 15 cents for each additional word.  Other display advertising rates are available. Prices available upon request.

Deadline : All submissions must be received by Wednesday at 3:30pm to be placed in the following week's issue.  All classifieds must be prepaid prior to deadline.  For your convenience we accept classifieds over the telephone when paid by Visa.

Special Services

Community Services: Specific non-profit local organizations and community groups wishing to publicize their upcoming events free of charge in The VISION Paper should submit their event to the attention of Community Events at one of the above addresses or email us.  Please include the "Who, What, Where, When and Why" and sometimes "How".

Anniversaries, Engagements, Weddings, Graduations, Thank You, List of Winners etc.: We publish all these announcements along with photos if provided. Pricing available upon request.

Obituaries: Obituaries are generally submitted by funeral homes on behalf of families.  Memoriams and cards of thanks are also published.  Prices available upon request.
