| We adore You, O Christ and we praise You.
Because by Your Holy Cross, You have redeemed the world. |

Lord Jesus, seeing your body taken
from the cross reminds me how fearful I am of letting go of my own life.
I am frightened when I think of being unimportant, useless, helpless.
Help me to place my life in your hands. |

Our Father, Who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come;
Thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day, our
daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who
trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us
from evil. Amen. |

women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother
